How Much Are My Goods Worth?
At Sydney Cash, we always want to give you the best price possible. To achieve this, we work out what price your item will reasonably sell for in our store, then take away a percentage we need to make to stay in business. We then arrive at the price we offer you.
What we look at:
Age: How old the item is?
Condition: Is the item working? Is it dirty or damaged?
Appeal: Is it a current model? Is it in demand?
Value: Can we sell it easily? Based on these, we offer you a fair price.
What Identifcation Do I Need?
When Loaning or Selling, In order to protect and verify your identity, you need to provde item that show:
- Your full name;
- Your current address;
- Your date of birth; and
- Your signature.
Acceptable forms of Identification include:
- Australian Issued Drivers Licence
- Australian Passport
- Birth Certificate
- Utility Bill – in your name
- Government Issued Photo Card or Proof of Age Card
- Medicare Card
- Bank or Income Statement
What Is Your Interest Rate?
Our Interest Rate is 25% per month or part thereof. If not redeemed after 3 months for general loans and 4 months for jewellery loans, A holding fee of 25% per month or part thereof is charged. A 75% sales fee is charged on the sale of unredeemed goods.
If redeemed within the first 10 days, pay only 10% interest, or if redeemed in the first 11 to 20 days, pay only 15% interest.
How Long Is The Loan Period?
Our Pawn Loans are for a duration of 3 months on general items & 4 months on jewellery items. You can extend the due date by paying the associated interest.
Is There A Warranty On Your Goods?
All goods, unless stated otherwise, come with 30 days warranty.
All compact disc media including CDs, Blu Rays, DVDs, Games and etc all come with a strict 48 hour warranty.
Car audio products need to be installed by a professional; failure will void any warranty given.
There is no warranty given on batteries.
All items sold ‘AS IS’ do not attract any warranty or guarantee.
What Is Your Refund Policy
Our refund policy is that we do not refund if you change your mind.
However, if the goods you have purchased from us are not in 100% working condition we can offer to exchange, repair or replace them for you.
Those are my stolen goods, What Do I Do?
If you find any of your stolen goods in our store, you need to go to a police station and they will inform you of your rights and what you need to do.
